Your African Safari Experience

As soon as you enter at the premier accommodation of Jackalberry Safari Lodge restcamp, you will be welcomed and taken to your luxury cottage. Once you have settled in, you may join the remainder of the visitors for tea or coffee before embarking on your first night game drive. Driving through the bush will bring the feeling of this African expedition to you. You will note that all the human mind are intensly at work, trying to position the elusive animal species. Your ranger will have a light to create the viewing easier.

When you arrive back at the lodge, you can neaten up a little bit, ahead of indulging in a delightful supper occasion. While enjoying the array of good dishes, you can chat about the proceedings of the game drive while having a true cultural affair. This is really the African safari of a lifetime. Afterwards in the evening when you call in a day to your lavish villa, you can simply collapse onto your king size bed and drift off into a peaceful sleep.

The next morning, the safari activities begin early. You are given a wake-up call complemented by refreshments. Then you can go on a game drive or bush walk for a few hours, before returning to camp for breakfast. Breakfast is afterwards followed with some leisure. Thus, the rest of the daytime is pretty much yours pending the night drive!

The highlight of this African safari expedition encounter are the game encounters. The park is huge and hundreds of birds and wildlife have made it home. From Lion to Cheetah, Leopard, Giraffe, Rhino, Elephant, Buffalo, Wildebeest and over 300 bird type.There are a range of smaller creatures as well, which you will learn about as you go along.

Minors are well taken care of at Jackalberry The Lodge. From fun activities to individually tailored menus and child minders, offspring will benefit from their safari as much as their mothers and fathers.

Accommodation

The Thornybush Jackalberry Lodge can contain up to ten people in five double rooms with exclusive en-suite semi-open air bathrooms beneathe deep African design thatch. It has small air-conditioned meeting facilities for executives, and the entire lodge can be booked to ensure privacy.
The African Rondavel type Bungalow sleep 2 and comprises a queen-size bed, bathroom with shower and toilet, sitting area, cocktail bar, balcony and carport. The bungalows, designed in the African rondavel design with imaginativly constructed tall thatched roofs, offer discretion in beautiful and harmonious surrounds.
The Cottage at Thornybush Jackalberry Lodge sleeps 4 and consists of 2 bedrooms, each with two single beds, bathroom with shower and toilet, a fully prepaired kitchen, living room and dining room with air-conditioning, porch and with braai section
