The Great African Safari Tour

As soon as you turn up at the premier accommodation of Jackalberry Bush Lodge campsite, you will be greeted and taken to your lavish chalet. Once you have settled in, you are able to meet the rest of the guests for tea or coffee prior to going on the 1st night-time game drive. Driving through the bush will create the feeling of this African expedition to you. You will note that all the human mind are intensly at work, trying to situate the mysterious animal species. Your Park ranger will have a light to create the viewing easier.

After you arrive back at the lodge, you can neaten up a little bit, ahead of indulging in a wonderful dinner affair. While enjoying the range of fine dishes, you can converse about the proceedings of the game drive while having a authentic cultural affair. This is truly the African safari of a lifetime. Later on in the evening when you call in a day to your luxury cottage, you can simply collapse onto your king size bed and drift off into a peaceful sleep.

The next am, the safari activities begin early. You will be given a wake-up call complemented by refreshments. Then you are able to embark on a game drive or bush stroll for a few hours, prior to returning to camp for breakfast. Breakfast is then followed by some relaxation. So, the balance of the day is pretty much yours pending the night drive!

The highlight of this African safari expedition experience are the game encounters. The park is massive and hundreds of animals have made it home. From Lion to Cheetah, Leopard, Giraffe, Rhino, Elephant, Buffalo, Wildebeest and over 300 bird species.There are a variety of minor creatures as well, which you will learn about as you go along.

Accommodation

Thornybush Jackalberry Lodge can hold up to 10 persons in five double rooms with sole en suite semi-open air bathrooms beneathe hidden African fasion thatch. It has minature air-conditioned conference services for executives, and the entire lodge can be booked to ensure discreation.
The African Rondavel type Bungalow sleeps 2 and comprises a queen-size bed, bathroom with shower and toilet, sitting area, cocktail bar, veranda porch and carport. The bungalows, planned in the African rondavel shape with imaginativly constructed tall thatched roofs, offer privacy in beautiful and friendly surrounds.
The Bungalow at Thornybush Jackalberry Lodge sleeps four and consists of 2 bedrooms, each with 2 single beds, bathroom with shower and toilet, a fully equipped kitchen, living and dining rooms with air-conditioning, terrace and with braai area
