While this game reserve margins Kruger National, there aren’t fences connecting them. This means the wild life can run as they want. There are no restrictions to where they go.
Several of the best private game lodges in the country are in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve and the liklihood of seeing the Big 5 animals (lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino) are good.
Access to the lodges is by car or via a shortflight from Johannesburg into the superb little airport at Skukuza in Kruger National Park-SA then a short hop by light reserve.
