Built next to the original path of the long-abandoned Selati railway line, the small and personal Sabi Sabi Selati Camp provides both wild life and bird viewing. The safari restcamp does have power but is lighten up solely by oil lamps which, combined with the old décor and early 20th Century train memorabilia, lends it an old-world feeling.

Location

 The Sabi Sabi Selati Camp is situated in the Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve, in 1 of the oldest and proclaimed private reserves - the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve; close to Kruger National.

Dining

For your first|1st} meal of the day the chefs at the Selati safari bush camp prepare a typical SA breakfast which includes freshly baked breads, jams and preserves from the Lowveld section. Lunch and dinner is also home-cooked food, served on the decks built on the river-bed, around the campfire in the open air boma or in the farmhouse.

Accommodation

The Selati Restcamp is one of the minor campsites on the Sabi Sabi Game Reserve and consists of simply Eight Lavishness thatched bedrooms, everyone with full bathroom en-suite and private outdoor shower, which blend into the surrounding bush. Selati Camp's leading accommodation is in the large Presidential Room. Personal porch and fireplace. It also features a personal plunge pool and game drives.
