Built next to the initial path of the long-abandoned Selati railway line, the small and intimate Sabi Sabi Selati Camp offers both wildlife and bird viewing. The safari restcamp does have power but is lighten up exclusively by oil lamps which, combined with the old décor and early 20th Century train memorabilia, lends it an old-world feeling.

 The Sabi Sabi Selati Camp is found in the Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve, inside 1 of the oldest and main proclaimed private reserves - the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve; next to Kruger National.

For your first|1st} meal of the day the chefs at the Selati safari bush camp arrange a typical SA breakfast which includes freshly baked breads, jams and preserves from the Lowveld part. Lunch and dinner is also home-cooked cooking, served on the decks built on the river-bed, around the bonfire in the open air boma or in the farmhouse.

Accommodation

The Selati Safari Restcamp is 1 of the smallest restcamps on the Sabi Sabi Game Reserve and consists of just Eight Lavishness thatched bedrooms, everyone with full bathroom en-suite and private alfresco shower, which blend into the surrounding bush. Selati Camp's leading accommodation is in the roomy Presidential Room. Private veranda and fire. It also features a private plunge pool and safaris.
