Rattray's on Mala Mala is located on the bank of the Sand River in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, which share an open perimeter with the Kruger Park, allowing for free movement of wild life between the two reserves. So, viewings of the Big Five are common and there are plenty of opportunities to observe interactions between a range of, different species along the food chain, from ants to elephants, providing you with a peek of wild Africa. The focus of Rattray's on Mala Mala wildlife safaris reflects the culture of game conservation that the reserve has maintained for over 40 years; so, a max of four people are permitted per safari truck, ensuring a more private wild life encounter. In addition to safari activities, amanities inside the elegant main building contain a viewing deck, complete with telescope, an air-conditioned library, a massage suite and a gymnasium. Please note that this campsite has a min 16 year old age limit.
