 The cooking at Lion Sands River Lodge is tasty and copious. During your stay you will be offered special dishes such as 'Zebra & Black Cherry Potjie' or 'Crocodile Kebabs with a Lemon Butter & Apricot Sauce'. The lodge has both an inside and open-air (Boma) dining place, or there is also the choice of bush breakfasts and dinners. Dining in the bush is an memorable experience. Lion Sands River Lodge has 18 luxurious thatched suites, each with a own viewing deck viewing the Sabie River. The inside is cream, with a touch of African fabric and wood carvings, and the big, comfortable beds come with mosquito nets, to ensure a peaceful night's rest.
