Find Berg en Dal Rest Camp

The Berg en Dal Kruger Park is one of the standard size safari camps found on the banks of Matjulu-Dam. Visitors of the safari rest camp could simply relax inside the available lunch room or arrange something to eat at the shared kitchenette, buy petrol in the petrol stations, enjoy a picnic, use telephones or just have a good dinner in the restaurant and or cool down at the camp's pool.

General

Man made structures in Berg en Dal are set within Kruger's natural bush & the grounds are pocked with flowering bush and aloes. The camp management staff leaves the majority of the local habitat to blossom unchanged inside the borders of the restcamp location.

Huge trees survive along the dry streams, which include the full sized acacias, beautiful fuchsia, red bushwillow and elegant jackal berries. Painstaking attention has being taken to spare the natural vegetation within the camp.

Graceful Leopard and African Wild Dog are frequently viewed in the area. Lion are also often feature in the lower plains on the roads to Skukuza and Crocodile Bridge. Bird lovers will no doubt discover the allures of Berg en Dal Camp irresistible as a wide range of birds is found here.

Berg en Dal Accommodation Services

The camp offers accommodation varying between tented camps sites with electricity to caravan areas, 3 bed chalets & larger facilities such as six and 8 bed units. Activities at the camp include the Bushman and Wolhuter Wilderness Trails, sunrise game drive, night drive & the Rhino trail camp walk.

Rest Camp Bungalows
69 x three bedroom bungalows, equipped with en-suite bathrooms (showers, no baths) and air-conditioning. Kitchenettes have hotplates and sink and you have a choice option variety of with or without perimeter view. Please confirm when booking.

Berg en Dal's Family Cottages
23 x 6 bed units, (two of which are accessible available to wheelchairs) with 2 rooms (1 double bed, 2 single beds and 2 bunk beds in lounge) with separate shower, toilet and bath. Units equipped with open plan kitchen/dining room/lounge and bedrooms are air-conditioned.

Visitor Guest Houses
These are large luxury units in prime positions in the campsite. There are well-equipped kitchens (with microwave ovens), multiple bedrooms and bathrooms. Fully air-conditioned. Limited channel DSTV televisions are provided.
