There are braai facilities at each cottage and at the recreation centre. Wood can be bought in this Kruger Park restcamp. Each accommodation unit also has its own electricity points. Open parking is available at Bateleur Camp.

Bateleur Campsite offer many attractions such as a game-watching hide that overlooks a waterhole just out of the campsite. Night-Time drives enable you to take part in the nightlife of The Kruger National Park-South Africa night time creatures, in the company of trained transportation guides and trackers.

2 dams, Silvervis and Rooibosrand are within close range of Bateleur Restcamp and are limited to the residents of Bateleur. Silvervis boasts a large selection of birdlife, as well as other wildlife such as Hippopotamus, Crocodiles, Bushbuck and Nyala.

The birdlife includes African Spoonbill, Yellowbilled Stork and African Fish Eagle, Whitefaced Duck and Knobbilled Duck as well as the Greenshank. Bateleur Campsite is private, meaning just residents are allowed

Climate Weather
The Kruger Park, South Africa is in a summer rainfall region. Such rain is usually convectional and can result in extreme downpours. The summer months (October to April) are hot and often balmy. Winters are warm and mild, although visitors going on night-time-drives will need warm clothing.
Day Guests
Only residents are allowed in the camp and on the access roads to The Batleleur Bush Campsite. The Batlelur Bush Camp can be booked through Central Reservations and is a wonderful bush experience for all. Bateleur Bush Camp is situated inside easy reach of the larger restcamps so that guests can make use of the bigger camps amenities if wanted
